"Under the Eagle" Hotel – an icon of turn of the century Bydgoszcz architecture. The richly decorated building, with eagle's wings over the facade, was designed by prominent architect from Bydgoszcz - Józef Święcicki.
Among the hotel guests there were marshal Józef Piłsudski, generals Edward Rydz-Śmigły and Józef Haller, president Ignacy Mościcki, as well as the famous pianist Arthur Rubinstein.
